Since I am tired of bugging others with my political thoughts I am going to use this to just get it out.

I never really thought about how much trouble the Chamber of Commerce could cause in our elections. I guess I never really looked at their previous involvement but I sure am getting tired of their intrusion on behalf of the big (probably out of country) corporations. I am hoping the people of Iowa will see what is happening in the Chambers' efforts to nearly singlehandedly defeat Braley and others in their advertisements paid for by who knows and make this effort backfire. We need to really push hard on our legislators to make things more transparent. The future of our elections is going to lose all credibility if this keeps up and we do not do something to make people fess up on where the money is coming from. There is only one reason for not wanting transparency as far as I am concerned–someone has something to hide.
