The Des Moines Register covered William Meyers’ decision to run for Congress as an independent in the fourth district.
Then the Iowa Democratic Veterans Caucus gave him the boot.
This is just one example of how not getting behind our nominee has in my opinion irreparably harmed Meyers’ political career.

Jason, I believe the reporters name was, left out a quote from William that said ” I am willing to sacrifice my political career, so that future young politicans can have a fair deal in the party.”
They also left out the first paragraph of the email that the chair of the IDVC sent out…which said “William Meyers has helped design our logos, and given us vital infromation.”
They also failed to mention, as soon as that email went out, the chair had 5-6 return emails, angry with him and his “SOLE” decision. You see, he didn’t talk or discuss the matter with any other board member, or members in general. He took it upon himself to make this decision. Does NOT sound to Democratic to me. Sound more like a “god” syndrome… do as I say or I shall strike you down.
