As annoying as I find Iowans for Sensible Priorities and their goddamn pie chart mobiles, they have put together a useful little site on Presidential candidate appearances for both parties. I just wish I could stop hearing the same question at every freaking event.

Have some cheese.
If it was something you approved of, you’d want to hear it at every event. Admit it.
I admit I wasn’t impressed with how the questions were phrased at last Friday’s Richardson blogger meeting, but I’m glad they birddawged him and got it on the record.

Not really
I approve of at least the cancellation of unnecessary military programs, and in general cutting defense spending outside of expenses related to servicing our troops in the field and as they come back home, and maybe increasing the overall number of active troops. But I am bored of hearing the same questions. 🙂

Ya goota admire the genius of the plan.
It isn’t about whether we the cognoscenti and party activists are bored, or irritated. I’ve found the local guy here to be an bit of a loudmouthed party-boy. But, the genius of the plan is that through sheer repetition of a very simple set of phrases and facts, it might break through to average voters.
It might also break down the candidates and get them to commit to more disciplined defense spending. Hell, if it works I’ll give them all the Medal of Freedom.
Who saw Ben and Jerry on Colbert last night?
