The Iowa House Democratic Caucus has just finished the roll-out of their new blog/website. You can find it here.
It’s a start in what promises to be a long-term process of reaching out through the tubes to reach voters and activists statewide.
The blog was created, and hosted, on the state server that can be used to host “non-campaign” related sites for either the Democratic or Republican members in the House or Senate. As a result, there are some “technical” limitations…as Chris talks about at Political Forecast last week.
I’m interested in finding out what kinds of information and content Iowa bloggers, and others, would like to find on the website. Remember – this is “non-political” and there will be no fundraising or campaign related material discussed of hosted on this site.
Take the poll and let your Democratic representatives know what you would like to see on the site!

what is the status of the clean elections bill?
Who is running it in the house? Can we get this done? I heard at one point that Pat Murphy wasn’t thrilled with the idea, but I did not hear why.
It would be great for progressives–just look at what they are able to accomplish in Maine with more than three-quarters of the legislature taking the option to run “clean.”
